Most banks in Nigeria are guilty of this crime. They make you wait endlessly before you are attended to. Just recently, I was at a branch of Skye bank in Lagos, the banking hall was totally jam-packed. The staff were doing little to reduce the congestion; their speed of work was really slow. A lady who was not able to bear it any longer raised her voice in protest and everybody else began to chorus their displeasure. It was only after this that the Manager came forward to mumble some apologies which the customers grudgingly accepted for the sake of peace and quiet. I wonder what the problem is with these banks. This is one of the reasons why the illiterate population are not being captured in the banking system. They prefer to keep their money with the local thrift collector!
